Before you Forge the Frontier, take a morning to sharpen your skills, discover your strengths, and add a few new tools to your professional toolkit. Join us for our 2026 Pre-Conference Sessions on Sunday, November 8, and choose the trail that’s right for you!

Trail #1: Clifton Strengths for Financial Aid Professionals
Led by a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, this interactive session will help you discover what you naturally do best, and learn how to use those strengths to work more effectively with others.

You'll discover your Top 5 CliftonStrengths and explore how your strengths influence the way you communicate, approach challenges, and contribute to your team. You'll also learn how to recognize and work effectively with people whose strengths are different from your own, helping you build stronger, more effective teams.

Want to know more? Check out this short video from CliftonStrengths before choosing your trail: https://youtu.be/C8OFpoP9pxE?si=FA-GqLgjSSki2kVv

Before You Saddle Up: Participants who register for the CliftonStrengths session will receive a link and instructions for completing the CliftonStrengths assessment prior to the conference. Please complete your assessment by Friday, October 30, so you'll be ready to put your strengths to work during the session!

Trail #2: NASFAA U Credential: Satisfactory Academic Progress
Strengthen your knowledge of one of the most important areas of financial aid administration while working toward a nationally recognized credential.

This session will deepen your understanding of Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements and provide an opportunity to work toward earning your NASFAA U Credential in SAP. Whether you're new to SAP or looking to strengthen your existing knowledge, you'll leave with valuable tools and knowledge you can apply to your work.
